WHY DO YOU NEED A LOGO

In our world saturated with brands it is very difficult to go naked. In a figurative sense, of course. But packaging a business is a competitive advantage for a company and a way to stand out. And for this you need a logo. He plays a key role here. It is with the logo that the client first of all meets, when he simply walks down the street, reads a magazine or visits the site.

With the transition to the Internet space, many companies believe that they have enough beautiful, catchy photos for their online store on Instagram or VK. And the names, of course. Such businesses are burned out even at the launch stage, because they do not differ from each other. The photo on the avatar is not remembered, and the company merges with competitors. And, perhaps, they have the potential for development. But they forget that they are not unique. And those who do not forget – grow, develop and occupy an increasing share of the market.

What are the functions of  logo:

  1. Brand identification and difference from competitors. We did not separate one from the other, because these functions are too close. These are the main functions of the logo. That, for which the first need a logo. Most likely, you are not alone in your niche. And you just need to be different and be yourself at the same time. In the visual brand, that is, in the logo, put your zest in terms of meanings. But in practice this is reflected in the main components of the logo: color, shape, font, text.

Transferring the mood of the brand. Color, icon and font convey the most important thing about the company. The correct shades and inscriptions will non-verbally add up the image of the company in the human subconscious. Here we are talking about the psychology of perception. Red will say about passion or aggression. Blue is about calm or concentration. The fact is that the same color can mean different things. But with the proper selection of shades, brand and font, you can convey certain moods and promises of your brand.
  3. Recognizability Placing a logo on certain materials allows us to say without any additional explanations about which company it says here. You can give a good example with various institutions. For example, an event took place in a restaurant. After the event, administrators post cool photos and add a logo to a photo corner. When then the participants of this event will post these photos, the logo will distribute information about this restaurant and show how cool it is there.

Logo development is best done at the stage of starting a business. Rather at the preparatory stage. In this way, you will immediately build your distinctive corporate identity and confidently enter the market. Do not forget to analyze the competitors’ logos in order not to accidentally become someone’s shadow. After all, the main thing in the logo is to stand out and emphasize its feature.
